What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept payments via Paypal, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

We are sorry, but we do not accept personal checks.

What if an item I wanted sold out?

Many of our items are seasonal and limited – please contact info@pcottontail.com and we’d be happy to try and find your item for you.

I received the wrong item, or my item was damaged, what should I do?

Please carefully package the wrong or damaged item with the original (or a copy of ) receipt. Then, take the item to a USPS location and purchase shipping and tracking. If the item was returned to us without tracking information, and we don’t receive it, we cannot issue a refund. Please include the receipt for shipping costs and we will refund you the cost of shipping. No shipping refunds will be given without a receipt of shipping costs.

We will then send the correct item, or a replacement item, at no shipping cost to you.

What is the sales tax policy?

If an online retailer has a physical presence in a particular state, such as a store, business office, or warehouse, it must collect sales tax from customers in that state. If a business does not have a physical presence in a state, it is not required to collect sales tax for sales into that state. Since P. Cottontail & Co. is located in California, we must collect sales tax from all customers in California. If you are outside of California, we are not required to collect sales tax from you.

I need my purchase gift wrapped - what are my options?

In order to be environmentally kind, we offer gift wrapping in a recyclable gift box with appropriately colored ribbon for $2.00 per gift. We do not paper wrap boxes.

How do I get a gift receipt for my purchase?

All online orders will receive a regular receipt and a gift receipt.

What if my item is backordered?

We allow back orders on items that we may sell out of, but are able to get more of. You can expect the ship time to be between 14-21 days.

How do I return or exchange an item?

Please carefully package your return or exchange with the original (or a copy of ) receipt. Then, take the item to a USPS location and purchase shipping and tracking. Your return or exchange will NOT be processed without an original receipt (or copy of). If the item was returned to us without tracking information, and we don’t receive it, we cannot issue a refund.

If you are returning an item that was damaged or you received the wrong item, include the receipt for shipping costs and we will refund you the shipping amount. No shipping refunds will be given without a receipt of shipping costs.

How do I interpret sizing?

Most items on our site are accompanied by a sizing chart corresponding to the company that made the item. Companies vary slightly in their sizing, so please check the sizing charts closely. If you have any questions, feel free to email info@pcottontail.com, and we would be happy to help you choose the right size.

What is your policy on Final Sale and Clearance items?

Final Sale and Clearance items are not returnable or exchangeable.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! Simply go to the gift cards section of the site and add the gift card in the desired amount to your gift bag.

What are your return and exchange policies?

We welcome returns and exchanges, as long as it is within 30 days of receiving the item, with the original (or a copy of ) receipt. For all returns and exchanges, the customer pays shipping unless the item is damaged, or the wrong item was received.

Final Sale and Clearance items are non-returnable.

Items that show wear and tear cannot be returned or exchanged.

What are your shipping policies and options?

For orders over $130.00, and gift card purchases, shipping is free!
For orders under $130.00, shipping is provided by USPS Flat Rate Services. Current prices are as follows:

For 1-2 clothing items: USPS Padded Flat Rate Envelope: $6.10
Small toys and accessories: USPS Flat Rate Small box: 5.95
3+ clothing items and/or large toys: USPS Flat Rate Medium Box: $12.95

These prices are subject to change and will be updated accordingly.

For returns and exchanges, the customer is expected to pay for the return shipping unless the item arrives damages, or the wrong item was received.
